The Grayson County Sheriff's Office, established in 1846, serves as the Chief Law Enforcement Agency for the county, overseeing law enforcement, jail operations, court security, and 911 dispatch across 940 square miles. Special units include the Special Response Team (SWAT), •	Special Operations Response Team (for the jail), Drone Team, K9, and Crisis Negotiators, alongside the Peer Support Team and Criminal Investigations. With a dedicated team of 142 direct employees, the office is committed to public safety and community service.
